Bandage change: removed bandage and noted there was crusty discharge on both IM pin sites and ESF pin sites. Cleaned with diluted betadine and applied TAO to all sites before covering with telfa and wrapping with cast padding, foam, vet wrap and duct tape. At ulnar pin site there was crusty discharge on the adjacent feathers that was cleared off as well. There was a healing wound site midway along the dorsal aspect of the ulna, adjacent to the bar. While the wound looked good she was still very sensitive to that spot being touched so more TAO was applied there as well.
I also evaluated wound during cleaning--healing wound noted by Becky is improved compared to previous. Patient still very sensitive to palpation of this area.

Replaced bandage on right fixator.
On removal of bandage, there was noted to be some discharge on the telfa padding. Cleaned pin tracts, most look good. There is a small ulcerative skin lesion between the proximal and next most proximal ESF pins approximately 0.5 cm long and perpendicular to the radius/ulna. This was cleaned gently with dilute iodine.
All pin tracts had TAO applied, also applied to skin laceration as well. Covered with telfa pads. Replaced the bandage on fixator.
While bandage was removed, performed passive range of motion exercises on the wing. Patient somewhat sensitive/vocal during extension of the wing.
